Frequently Asked Questions

These are some of the more common questions we get at Echelon Furniture. If yours isn’t here, feel free to Contact Us.

Can I buy directly from the Echelon Furniture factory?

That depends. Echelon Furniture products are primarily sold through our network of independent furniture retailers in the United States, Canada, Mexico and Puerto Rico. If there is a store near you, you have two options: (1) buy directly at the store or (2) order through our web site and we will ship your furniture to the store for pickup or delivery (to be arranged directly with your local retailer). Use our Store Locator to see which retailers in your area carry Echelon furniture.

What if there isn’t a store that carries Echelon furniture near me?

You can still order through our web site. We will ship your furniture to a distribution center near you and they will make arrangements with you for delivery. See our direct delivery policy and fees.

Can I return my furniture for any reason?

Returns of merchandise purchased through your local store are dependent upon their individual policies. Due to the cost of shipping furniture, anything that you purchase and have shipped directly from Echelon is not returnable, unless damages are claimed at the time of delivery and approved for credit and/or replacement. See our delivery policies and procedures.

Where can I get pricing?

We post the US$ price of each item in our furniture collections on its description page. The pricing listed on the website is for the Continental USA only. Pricing outside Continental USA may be higher. We suggest that you contact your local retailer.

Does your furniture come with a warranty?

Yes. All of our furniture comes with a one-year warranty on any manufacturing defects resulting from normal use.

Echelon Furniture (“Echelon”) products are warranted against all defects in workmanship and materials for one year, from the date of the original purchase. This warranty is limited to repairing or replacing any part of the product that, in Echelon’s opinion, is defective in materials or workmanship under normal use and service during the one-year warranty period. This warranty does not cover any damage that results from normal wear and tear, abuse, negligence, improper use or alteration to the finish, design or hardware of the product.

During the one-year warranty period, Echelon will, at its discretion, repair or provide parts for any piece of furniture that is defective in material or workmanship under the terms and conditions of the warranty, at no charge to you. If Echelon determines that a repair is impractical, you will be furnished a substitute of the same or similar color, design, style and quality. This warranty is valid only for the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

Thank you for helping us to serve you better.

How do I know your products are safe for my child?

Echelon products are made in the U.S.A. from American hardwoods like maple, birch and poplar and tested for compliance to Federal Regulation 16 CFR 1303 for lead content and are certified as such by testing institutions and laboratories recognized by both the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM) and the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC). We meet or exceed every federal safety standard and are certified by the Juvenile Products Manufacturers Association (JPMA).

Can you tell me how you measure your furniture or how I can measure a piece myself?

All our furniture measurements are taken at the widest point. Width is measured across the front of a piece. Facing the piece, this would be from left to right. Depth is measured from front to back, and height is measured from the floor to the top of the tallest point of the piece. Bed length is measured from the outside (or back) of the headboard to the outside of the footboard. Construction tolerances and the inherent nature of wood to expand and contract may cause measurements to vary slightly (less than one-quarter inch).

How can I replace lost hardware for my crib and/or bed?

Please send us an email, and we will be happy to send you what you need. Be sure to include your name and complete mailing address, the model number, date of manufacturing (located on the inside bottom of your crib/bed), and the part(s) you need. If in stock, shipment happens within 48 hrs.
